Go treasure hunting on the Garage Sale Trail

Find something special at a garage sale in your local neighbourhood. Got some things that are ready to go to a new home? Host your own garage sale or join a group sale near you. Over 2 big weekends, more than 400,000 Australians will host a garage sale or shop the trail.

Eat, shop and play at Sydney Streets

Sydney Streets comes to Potts Point and Glebe with live music, entertainers, kids’ activities and outdoor dining. Soak up the festival vibes and enjoy a day of fun for the whole family.

Recognise global peacemakers

Celebrate the extraordinary people who stand for peace and justice at the Sydney Peace Prize lecture and award ceremony. This year’s recipient, esteemed international jurist and former United Nations Commissioner for Human Rights Judge Navi Pillay, will make a keynote address.

Get into the Christmas spirit

Kick off Christmas festivities in the city centre at the end of the month. Watch Santa ride his sleigh with his marching band and elves. Get active with Disability Sports Australia

Adults, children and young people with disability can try new sports at this fun and inclusive day at Perry Park Recreation Centre. Get specialised coaching, adaptive equipment and meet other people with disability.

Friday 28 November

Join our pool open day for gender diverse communities

Swim, splash and play at this Cook + Phillip Park Pool event for trans and gender diverse communities, including partners, families and friends. Try aqua aerobics, play lawn games and chill out as the DJ turns up the tunes.
