For young children aged up to 5

The Flying Bubble Show

For primary school-aged children

All Star Circus
Get ready for jaw-dropping stunts, graceful aerials and laugh-out-loud comedy in a high-energy family circus spectacular. With daring flips, human pyramids and plenty of fun, it’s the perfect school holiday outing for all ages.

Colourful mask workshop
Kids can unleash their creativity by designing and decorating bold, large-scale cardboard masks in this hands-on art workshop. With plenty of paint, ribbons and streamers, it’s a fun way to explore sculpture and imagination.

Table tennis at Ultimo Community Centre
Serve up some fun these school holidays with casual table tennis on professional-grade tables. Perfect for a friendly match or a family tournament, bookings are available by the hour.

Mythical keyring workshop
In this creative silversmithing workshop, kids will sketch, shape and texture their own mythical creature keyring. Guided by an expert tutor, they’ll learn real jewellery-making skills and leave with a handmade piece to show off.

School holiday activities with Museums of History NSW
Sydney’s past comes to life with hands-on weaving workshops, kids’ trails, family fun days and street parties. From spinning yarn with a First Nations artist to exploring historic sites, there’s free, family-friendly fun for all ages.

Ceramics at Pine Street Creative Arts Centre
Kids can get creative with clay, hand-building cups, bowls, vases and sculptures before decorating them in their own style. Guided by an experienced tutor, this fun, beginner-friendly workshop is all about play, process and imagination.
For high school students

Youth in the city
From bushwalking and movies to laser tag, gaming and a Lego exhibition at the Australian Museum, the City of Sydney’s school holiday program offers something for everyone.

Whispers and Roars music workshops
Budding young musicians can level up these school holidays with 4 days of mentoring, music-making and performance. Learn to record, produce and perform, then showcase your talent live at a festival finale.
