A new series of free science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) workshops is creating inclusive pathways into tech and digital careers for communities across Sydney.

Designed for beginners, the sessions include a facilitated hands-on activity to build confidence, connect participants with supportive networks and provide clear information about the STEM skills currently in demand. The series includes tailored workshops for women, young people and people with disability – ensuring more people can see the opportunity and their potential in growing STEM industries.

Participants will:

  • explore in-demand STEM skills
  • hear stories from industry professionals
  • take part in activities designed to spark curiosity and build momentum toward future study or employment.

The workshops are presented by sector partners including She Codes Australia, the Australian School of Entrepreneurship and People with Disability Australia and funded by the City of Sydney as part of a commitment to expanding access to future-focused careers.

All sessions are free to attend, with places limited. Sessions run from 21 March to 18 April.

Discover the workshop that’s right for you and take your first step into STEM.
