The celebration of some of our favourite local neighbourhoods continues. Parts of Potts Point, Surry Hills, Glebe, Redfern, Pyrmont, Haymarket and Darlinghurst once again become car-free zones for Sydney Streets over various weekends from September to November.
The streets will come alive with live music, outdoor dining, games and entertainment for the whole family. For some locations small stages with programmed entertainment will keep the party going from late afternoon and into the evening.
Make the most of these community events
Local businesses and organisations can host in-store activations to attract customers, drink and dining offers, giveaways, pop-up stalls or apply to extend trading and dining outdoors.

Get inspired
From face painting to special menus, yoghurt eating competitions to doggy-treat giveaways, there have been some great ideas to create unique events and special offers that bring in customers.
Over in Surry Hills, Masala Theory’s food stall served up curry bombs, Mumbai margaritas and fresh tunes.
Markd Tattoos in Redfern welcomed walk-ins for one day only – giving customers the chance to jump the waiting lists and get a quick tattoo from specialist artists.
Lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs like the Lord Roberts in Darlinghurst took their table service roadside for customers to enjoy alfresco dining.
In Redfern, kids and adults enjoyed painting classes by Sydney Creative while enjoying pizza from neighbour restaurant La Coppola.
In Potts Point, four-legged friends enjoyed treats from Puppcorn with plenty of goods on display.
