Take in breathtaking views from 268m above the city centre. Sydney Tower Eye Skywalk is wheelchair accessible so be sure to book to secure your spot.

BridgeClimb Sydney

BridgeClimb offers an inclusive experience, with Auslan-guided tours, (subject to demand and interpreter availability), hearing loops and continuous handrails throughout the climb for people with low vision. A lift is available to access the bridge's walkway.

Sydney Opera House

Sydney Opera House is one of the country’s most iconic venues and offers accessible options including:

  • Auslan interpreting
  • closed captioning
  • low vision access
  • relaxed performances
  • Audio-described tours for selected events, including Vivid Live and Sydney New Year’s Eve
  • Accessible toilets, including a Changing Places facility, are located near the Box Office.

Sydney Theatre Company

At the Sydney Theatre Company, you'll find:

  • hearing enhancement systems in all theatres
  • captioned and Auslan-interpreted performances
  • accessible parking and wheelchair seating

Located on the north shore, Ensemble Theatre partners with Vision Australia to provide:

  • audio-described performances and tactile backstage tours
  • wheelchair seating and level access

  • hearing loops for all performances
  • accessible toilets on each floor

International Convention Centre (ICC)

The ICC is fully accessible with step-free access to all venues. A limited number of wheelchairs are available for free hire. The venue also features a Changing Places facility on level 2.

Gig Buddies

Many of Sydney’s live music venues are wheelchair accessible and cater to those with low vision or blindness. We support Gig Buddies, an organisation that connects volunteers to people with disability for cultural and interest-based outings.

Royal Botanic Gardens

Explore accessible paths, including the rose garden and Bennelong Lawn, with 3 accessible toilets and 8 accessible entrances throughout. Plan your accessible visit here.

Chinese Garden of Friendship

The lower level of this peaceful garden is wheelchair accessible, and there is one accessible toilet. Read more.

Sydney Park

Sydney Park's playground is designed for all children, including those who are blind, have low vision or use wheelchairs. The playground stimulates senses of touch, hearing and sight. Read more.

The Art Gallery of NSW offers:

  • wheelchair accessibility
  • free parking for people with disabilities
  • free entry for support workers to ticketed exhibitions
  • audio-induction loops in the Domain Theatre and Centenary Auditorium
  • Auslan Interpreters
  • tactile and sensory tours.
  • The Art and Dementia program provides opportunities for meaningful and interactive connection with artworks from the Art Gallery’s collection.

Australian Museum

The museum provides:

  • full wheelchair and mobility scooter access
  • Early Birds Access Mornings for reduced sensory environments
  • Changing Places facility on level 2
  • accessible toilets on all public gallery floors

Australian National Maritime Museum

The museum offers lift or ramp access to all exhibition spaces and provides:

  • accessible toilets and parking spaces
  • audio-induction loops in key areas
  • interactive displays throughout the museum
  • Carers are given free access.

NSW Parliament House

NSW Parliament House features:

  • hearing loops in most rooms
  • full wheelchair access
  • Changing Places facility on site

State Library of NSW

The State Library offers inclusive events, exhibitions and workshops throughout the year, ensuring accessibility for everyone.
