Experience a day of joy, giving and community spirit right in the heart of Sydney.
This special day marks the peak of the Christmas appeal, where every donation is doubled for 24 hours up to the value of $80,000, thanks to the generous matched givers DOOLEYS and Movement of Many.
It’s a chance for Sydney to come together, support a great cause and make an impact on the lives of sick kids across the state.
What’s happening at Martin Place
From 8am to 4pm, Martin Place between Pitt and Castlereagh Streets will transform into a vibrant Giving Day hub with something for everyone. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s planned.
- Butterboy Cookies: Satisfy your sweet tooth, where $1 from every delicious cookie goes straight to the foundation. It’s a tasty way to make a difference.
- Chillout zone: Need a break? Relax in the cozy beanbag area and enjoy your cookie while taking a pause from the city centre hustle.
- Silent disco: Put on a pair of headphones and groove along to your favourite tunes at this pop-up. It’s a unique experience bound to put a smile on your face.
- Roving Christmas entertainment: Feel the magic of the season with performers bringing holiday cheer to everyone.
- Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation volunteers and Fire & Rescue NSW: They’ll collect donations and sell Play for Purpose raffle tickets, while Fire & Rescue NSW members will be at Central, Martin Place, Town Hall and Wynyard train stations collecting donations from 7am to 9am.
Get involved and make a difference
Whether you’re joining the silent disco or relaxing with a cookie, every interaction, donation and raffle ticket purchase will go towards supporting Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation.
Together, we can fund new medical equipment, essential training, groundbreaking research and world-class facilities to help change the future for sick kids.
If you’re in the city centre, come down and join us. With plenty of festive fun for everyone, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season of giving.
Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation is the official charity partner for Sydney Christmas.
