Seeking young people to join our training and mentorship program

Our youth opportunities program aims to empower young people to have a voice, act on matters that concern them and actively contribute to shaping significant City of Sydney events.

As a program participant you’ll:

• attend engaging meetings and contribute unique ideas, opinions and perspectives and contribute to digital engagement with young people through our TikTok channel
• co-design and shape key City of Sydney events such as Youth Week and International Day of People with Disability with other participants
• take part in monthly workshops and training sessions, offering you the knowledge and confidence to organise and lead community activities and events.

Program benefits include:

• developing leadership skills by attending specialised training sessions
• networking with like-minded young people
• gaining practical experience in event management, marketing, communication and community engagement
• receiving a signed certificate of recognition by the Lord Mayor of Sydney.

The program is open to young people who live, work, study or play in the City of Sydney local area.
