Community groups wanted for 2 affordable Millers Point properties

Reduced rates are offered for the multipurpose spaces.

We invite community-focused organisations to apply for a subsidised 5-year lease to operate either or both Harry Jensen Community Centre and the Abraham Mott community space in Millers Point.

The facilities are suitable for a variety of uses to support community activity and involvement.

Support is available in the form of waived or reduced rental charges. Rates vary depending on the space being leased and the financial capacity of the applicant.

We welcome applications from eligible parties who:

  • have demonstrated connection and benefit to local area and communities
  • create projects that strengthen social cohesion, community resilience and wellbeing
  • provide opportunities to involve our communities in local decision-making and building connection
  • improve access to varied and affordable services for our communities.

Applications for community benefit are being accepted only. We can’t accept applications from commercial organisations.
